INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF
THE INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS OF EVERY HUMAN BEING

BASIC PRINCIPLES

Every human being – woman, man, child – has inalienable, individual rights as basis for individual freedom, justice and development. Disregard or violation of these rights can be considered as inhuman, as a crime against humanity. The individual human rights apply to all individual human beings of all nationalities, all religions and ideologies and all races.

  1. Every individual human being has the right to freedom of thinking, feeling and wiling, and the right to freedom of culture, religion and conscience.
  2. Every individual human being has the right to modify, complete or change her or his thinking, feeling and willing to their own discretion
  3. Every individual human being has the right to protect himself or herself against, or to be protected from, any form of indoctrination and/or conditioning
  4. Every individual human being has the right to a philosophy, convictions or opinions of their own.
  5. Every individual human being has the right to practice his or her own philosophy, convictions or opinions, as long as the freedom of the Other remains safeguarded.
  6. Every individual human being has the right to freedom of faith, therefore also not to non-belief.
  7. Every individual human being has the right to freedom of religion, in other words the right to practice her or his faith according to her or his own will, as long as the freedom of the Other remains safeguarded
  8. Every individual human being is free to teach his or her own philosophy, convictions and religion, to transmit them through religious services or to share them with others.
  9. Every individual human being is free to alter, complete or change his or her own philosophy, convictions and religion at any moment.
  10. No individual human being can be forced to become part of organizations that represent principles and practices which are not in keeping with her or his philosophy, convictions or religion
  11. Every individual human being has the right to express himself according to her or his own volition, in words, text and pictures, through (social) media, publicly or in a private circle, without interference from others and/or the authorities, as long as the freedom of the Other remains safeguarded
  12. Every individual human being has the right to obtain or to collect information useful to underpinning, completing or changing her or his philosophy, convictions or religions, in every possible way, irrespective of frontiers, that is to say: from the whole world.
