DECLARATION OF RIGHTS OF CHILDREN

  1. A child is a human being and therefore has all the rights claimed by other human beings.
  2. A child has the right to have the parent(s) it wishes for.
  3. A child has the right to live freely and responsibly.
  4. A child has a right to the truth.
  5. A child has a right to be loved.
  6. A child has the right to be safeguarded against every form of violence in every stage of its life, also during pregnancy.
  7. A child has the right to have its own secrets.
  8. A child has a right to individual development according to its own choice.
  9. A child has the right to make mistakes.
  10. A child has a right to respect, which also includes its belongings and the way it spends its money.
  11. A child has the right to have its own convictions.
  12. A child has the right to learn.
